Property Description
Nestled on 2.15 acres of whispering hardwoods and gentle streams, Skipper’s Cottage—affectionately known as Skipper’s Cabin—offers a rare blend of privacy and proximity in the heart of Northport. From this elevated setting across from Northport Bay, you can walk to the boatyard moorings, launch a dinghy, or take a leisurely bike ride along picturesque N Shore Drive. The home sits within the golf-cart-friendly village, making it an easy ride to shops, restaurants, and the marina. Inside, the two-bedroom cottage is bright and inviting, furnished in a breezy nautical style. Updates include new roofs on the home and garage, a fully remodeled bath with walk-in shower, refreshed kitchen with stainless appliances and modern fixtures, and fresh exterior paint for lasting durability. The four-season vinyl porch and backyard pergola provide peaceful spaces to enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding woods and nearby stream. With municipal water and sewer, natural gas, and reliable Wi-Fi, this move-in-ready property is ideal for seasonal living, a guest cottage for nearby homeowners, or a short-term rental investment. Room for expansion or potential parcel split adds future flexibility—making Skipper’s Cottage one of Northport’s most charming and versatile opportunities.
